INSURANCE INDUSTRY POLICYMAKERS AND TOP COMPANY LEADERS TO GATHER IN TUSCON FOR ABA LITIGATION MEETING
Sessions to cover Hurricane Katrina issues, insuring Hollywood, cyber-loss, asbestos, and other hot topics
CHICAGO, February 19, 2008 – Lawyers attending the 20th annual CLE seminar sponsored by the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation in Tucson, Ariz., February 28 – March 1, will hear from insurance leaders who will offer diverse perspectives on insurance coverage litigation.
The four-day program will kick-off with “Confronting Catastrophe: Pandemics, Hurricanes, Terrorists – Oh My!,” an interactive session featuring the advice from experts who lived through Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.
Other sessions include “Insuring Hollywood: Coverage under Entertainment and Media Policies,” one of 14 luncheon roundtables; “Just When You Thought It was Safe to Eat Spinach” and “Insurance Coverage for IP and Cyber-Loss.” This cyber liability panel will focus on the marketplace for new products designed to cover the risks of cyber liability, focusing on such recent issues as identity theft resulting from the T.J. Maxx database and the Viacom-YouTube litigation.
